This unit is in good physical condition, with small signs of wear and tear. This unit was working fine before it was pulled out of the DTL tape drive. This unit does not include the top and bottom slide bars. The stepping motor on this unit is a Type 23KM-K033-04 Astrosyn. This makes a great replacement tape picker if you're having problems with one from the Scalar 458s. The Scalar 458 might not be the only DLT tape library that this will work for, but be sure you do research before purchasing this arm for anything other than the Scalar 458. Arm is approxamately 38" long. This could also be used in other applications by someone skilled with mechanics and computer knowledge. Please bid wisely and good luck!
